1. Controller
Targetic GmbH
Kölner Landstraße 223a
40591 Düsseldorf
Germany
2. Hosting and Server Logs
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur. Access data is processed as part of the technical provision of the website. According to current information from IONOS, this includes in particular the referrer, requested page or file, browser type and browser version, operating system, device type, time of access, and an IP address anonymized at the time of collection. IONOS states a retention period of eight weeks for this visitor data.
The processing serves the secure, stable and technically reliable provision of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and trouble-free provision of our online service.
Where IONOS processes personal data on our behalf, this is based on a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. According to current information from IONOS, the visitor data mentioned above is not disclosed to third parties and is not transferred to third countries.
3. IONOS WebAnalytics
IONOS provides WebAnalytics as part of its web hosting for statistical analysis and technical optimization. According to current information from IONOS, no cookies are used for this purpose; depending on the hosting configuration, data may be collected via a log file or a tracking pixel. The IP address is transmitted when a page is requested, then immediately anonymized and subsequently processed without personal reference.
For production use, WebAnalytics is intended to be operated exclusively in a configuration that does not use a tracking pixel requiring consent or other non-essential access to your terminal device. If a tracking pixel or another tracking technology requiring consent is used instead, it will only be activated after your prior consent.
Where personal data is processed as part of the technical collection before anonymization, this is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in statistical analysis and the technical optimization and stability of our online service.
In addition, we use Google Ads conversion tracking only after your prior consent. Without consent, the Google tag is not loaded. The designated corporate fonts continue to be loaded locally from our own webspace.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
To measure whether an advertisement placed via Google Ads leads to a successfully submitted contact request, we use the Google tag from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”) after your explicit consent. Before you consent, the Google tag is not loaded and no data is transmitted to Google through this mechanism.
After your consent, Google may in particular process information about the ad click (e.g. a Google Click ID/GCLID), technical browser and device information, the page URL and the IP address, and may use advertising-related cookies or comparable identifiers such as _gcl_*. The actual conversion event is triggered only after our server has confirmed that the contact form was submitted successfully. We do not transmit the contents entered in the contact form, names or email addresses to Google as “Enhanced Conversions”; this feature is not enabled.
The legal basis for loading the Google tag and the associated storage of or access to information on your device is your consent pursuant to Section 25(1) TDDDG. Where personal data is processed, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time via “Privacy settings” in the footer. Your choice is stored locally in your browser for up to 180 days so that we can respect your decision.
A technically required session cookie named targetic_contact is only set when you retrieve protected contact information or interact with the contact form. It is used exclusively for security functions such as session assignment, protection against automated access, CSRF protection and rate limiting, and is deleted at the end of the browser session. It is not used for advertising, profiling or reach measurement.
The storage of or access to this session cookie is technically necessary for the function expressly requested by you. Prior consent is therefore not required under Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG. Where personal data is processed, the processing also serves to protect the website against misuse and is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. Protected Display of Phone and Email
To protect against automated scraping, spam and unwanted solicitation, the phone number and email address are not provided directly as plain text in the public page source. If you actively click “Show Phone” or “Show Email Address”, the requested information is provided via a server-side protected request.
During this request, only the technical information required for the security check is processed for a short period. The contact information is not used for advertising or analytics purposes.
6. Contact Form
If you contact us via the contact form, we process the information you submit in order to handle your inquiry and for further communication. Your first and last name, email address and message are required. Salutation, company, phone number and role/function may be provided voluntarily.
If your inquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other business inquiries, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in processing and responding to business communications.
To secure the form, we process a limited amount of technical security data. This includes, in particular, a short-lived CSRF token, session information, timing information and a pseudonymized network identifier used solely to limit misuse. No content-based profiling takes place.
The website does not store form data in its own database. The information submitted is forwarded to the Targetic communication address designated for processing. In addition to the responsible persons at Targetic, recipients may include hosting and email service providers involved technically, insofar as this is necessary for transmission and processing.
We delete or restrict further processing of the data as soon as it is no longer required for handling and documenting the inquiry. Statutory retention obligations and the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims may require longer retention.
Providing the information marked as mandatory is necessary so that we can process and respond to your inquiry appropriately. All other information is voluntary.
7. Recipients and Third-Country Transfers
We use IONOS as a service provider for hosting and technical provision. Other recipients receive personal data only insofar as this is necessary to process an inquiry, comply with legal obligations or safeguard legitimate interests.
When Google Ads conversion tracking is used, processing by Google companies may also take place in the United States. According to Google, Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Otherwise, third-country transfers are subject to the data protection safeguards provided by Google for this purpose. In email communication, the technical transmission route may additionally depend on the mail services involved.
8. Your Rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have, in particular, rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For companies based in North Rhine-Westphalia, the competent authority is generally the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
9. Automated Decisions
No solely automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, takes place in connection with this website.
10. Current Status
